WHO confirms ‘There are cluster of Covid-19 cases but not Community Transmission’ in India

The World Health Organization (WHO) admits the error in their ‘Situational Report’ which stated that India is having community transmitted cases. In their latest statement, WHO said that India is having a cluster of cases but not community spread cases as of now. India is having 6761 cases in total with 206 deaths but still, the country is not in Stage 3.

One of the sources said: “The government has firmly denied that the country is in Stage 3 or community transmission, which is when the infections escalate and it is difficult to trace the source. If it happens, we will be the first to tell you. We will tell people to be especially alert…There is no community transmission.”

The government is requesting the public again and again to maintain social distancing and to follow the lockdown so that India comes out safe of Covid-19.
