Three minor girls go missing, abduction suspected



The Daba police have booked two migrants Sajid Quraishi, a resident of Delhi and his accomplice Mohammed Ashu, a resident of Gurmel Nagar under Sections 363/366-A of the IPC for allegedly abducting two minor girls on the pretext of marrying them.

In a complaint, Gautam Kumar, a resident of Gurmel Nagar said the accused were residing in front of his house. “My niece aged 15 years and her friend aged 14–residing in the vicinity, were abducted by the accused on their motorcycle CT Deluxe (PB-10CT-6871) on the evening of May 19.”

The police said investigation was on and the search had been launched for the accused and the missing girls.

In a similar incident, the Tibba police have registered a case under Section 346 of the IPC against unknown persons on the complaint of Jarnail Singh, a resident of Chander Lok Colony. The complainant said his minor daughter had gone to Government Senior Secondary School to purchase books on May 22, but since then she had not returned and her present whereabouts were unknown. The complainant suspected that his daughter might have been kidnapped by someone against her wish. The matter is under investigation.
