Shiromani Akali Dal leaders Parkash Singh Badal, Sukhbir Badal and Daljit Singh Cheema have been asked to appear in court by Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate Monica Sharma on 3rd December in a fraud case.

National Vice-President of Socialist Party of India, Balwant Singh Khera had filed a complaint against SAD for forgery, fraud, and conspiracy. He had filed the complaint under Indian Penal Code 9 years ago.

The evidence and required statements have been recorded in this court. Khera said that the party leaders had hidden its original constitution. As per the older constitution, the party said that it adhered to Sikh principles.

However, the leaders gave a false affidavit to Election Commission stating that the party is secular, democratic and socialist values.
