Nine-month old murder mystery hatched; 1 arrested

About nine months ago, a 23-year-old scrap dealer was strangulated to death and his body was found in a vacant plot. As per the information, the police has arrested the accused who plotted the murder and then fled the location. The accused is identified as Mohammad Nazre Alam Khan of Bihar who is a 20-year-old stalker of Honey’s wife.

Accused of stalking scrap dealer’s wife, Mohammad had a verbal argument with Honey last year. On January 4, Honey left from his home and didn’t return, tensed by the situation, his father filed a complaint in Division 7 police station. As the conspiracy hatched, it was found that Mohammad took Honey for drinks and after he was under intoxication Mohammad strangulated Honey and dumped his body in a vacant plot. Unable to digest his son’s death, Honey’s father registered a complaint at Division Number 7 Police Station.

The police had registered a case under Sections 302, 201 and 34 of the IPC against the unidentified person(s) at the Division Number 7 police station.
