Mayank Anand of Ludhiana attains 423 rank in AIR

Attaining 663 marks out of 720 marks in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) Mayank
Anand grabbed 423 AIR and topped in Ludhiana. As per the information, the boy completed
his12th scoring 93.4% and also bagged the position in top 500 out of 15 lakh students who
appeared for NEET. in his interview, he said “When you want something, all the universe
conspires in helping you to achieve it.” a quote by Paulo Coehlo’s book Alchemist motivated him
to aim high.” Overwhelmed and proud by their son’s result, Professor of GADVASU Arun Anand
and Municipal Town Planner (MTP) Monika Anand shared their happiness and said that now we
are waiting for him to get enrolled in AIIMS as he wishes to become cancer specialist in future.
Coming second in Ludhiana with AIR 431 Arshneet Kaur, daughter of doctors, also shared her
experience with us. In her interaction, she said “One needs to be focussed and determined
towards their goal and should not let anything distract them.” Maintaining a distance from social
media and mobile phone, Arshneet plans to continue the legacy of the family by getting
admission and clearing MBBS with good marks.

With AIR 565, Bhuvan Popli of Sacred Heart Convent School Sarabha Nagar stood third in
Ludhiana with 660 marks in NEET. he said “I devoted six hours to study daily and stayed away
from all social media which helped me remain focussed.” When asked about his future plans,
Bhuvan said that he plans to follow his parents footsteps who are Dr parveen Popli, a
radiologist, and Dr Seema, a gynaecologist and aim to become cardiothoracic surgeon in future.
