Gold worth Rs 1.30 Crore seized at Amritsar Airport

At Guru Ramdas Ji International Airport, the customs department has seized gold worth Rs 1.30 crore. As per the information, two residents returned from Dubai with 3.332 Kg of Gold whose value in the international market is in crores.

Custom Commissioner Deepak Kumar Gupta said that both the men were smugglers, one from Tarn Taran and other from Patiala. They told that the accused brought the gold painted in Silver color but the police nabbed them and seized all the valuables. The smugglers have been arrested and further investigation has been initiated.
